Unit 1    Principles of Food Preparation


In this unit we cover quick breads, yeast breads & bread baking, pies, deserts, organic gardening (with field trips & garden tours), food preservation: freezing & canning,  food management & buying, and basic cake decorating.

Unit 8    Nutrition & Dietary Wellness


We use a six-Pace Nutrition Science course as the basis for this unit.  We also utilize the teachings of one the country's finest nutritionists & cooks, Sue Gregg, learning from her wonderful wisdom and invaluable instruction.
