Growing up, Dan was Sarah's and my play buddy...I remember him learning to mow the lawn.   He was about 6 years old and his head barely came above the handles.  But he loved it. 
All of us took violin lessons, but he took to the fiddling part of it better than we did. 
Most of his indoor life was spent learning school.  Sarah and he learned together, so where he went, she was sure to be right near him..

Most of his outdoor life was spent with dad in the construction world.Dad and Daniel spent many a day hammering

roofs, drywall, molding etc..

As a teenager, our neighbor across the street gave Daniel some mechanic lessons.  He moved from redoing lawn mower motors, to rebuilding the purple Chevy diesel truck. 

When Daniel was 20, he had the opportunity to go to London, England and be a missionary for a year. This picture   was a common sight.  He learned how to preach in the squares and parks, witnessing to any and everybody.  Sarah visited him for a few weeks, and they went over to Scotland and visited the Ramages, old family friends.   He was able to visit the Philippines, Germany, Austria, & Romania as well.

The past few years of Daniel's life have been a whirlwind.  When he came back from England, he went into EMT training.   He also became a volunteer firefighter for Station 7.  

He works as an EMT for  Escambia Co. EMS.

3/7/04  Daniel just bought himself a truck.....  I think that Sarah getting her truck has served as a motivation for his desire/need.  Anyway, it is not just a truck, it is a Silvarado, one he has dreamed of since he was a teenager...He is turning 24 on March 30th.

6/12/04 Wow, a lot has happened in 3 months. Daniel has met the girl of his dreams (literally) and they plan to be married October 16, 2004.  He is busy getting ready for the wedding and saving money  to buy them a house/condo.  He is no longer working as a volunteer firefighter, but does hope to get back into in the future.
