Michele Kwan-
The Graceful and Elegant Michelle!

Michelle is my favorite ice skater.  She has a finesse and poise and grace that no other skater possesses.  Who can ever forget her 1998 Nagano upset by the tiny powerhouse, Tara Lipinski, who flashed upon the US skating scene and then quickly faded into the skating world's sunset.  My favorite part of Michelle's programs?  Her spirals.

Todd Eldredge
My favorite guy skater!  His programs were inspiring, and his demeanor- that little boy sheepishness- is endearing.  No one can replace him since he retired into professional status.  My favorite part of Todd's programs?  His spins!!!

And who can forget the ice-antics and clowning of Ilia Kulik and Philippe Candeloro?

Jenni Meno & Todd Sand
Jenni and Todd were such classic competitors, yet they lent a style to their performance that was all their own.  They had a close connection with their audience and fans.

Kyoko Ina & John Zimmerman
I consider John & Kyoko to be the best US Pairs couples in many years.  They are absolutely beautiful together, bringing a perfect combination of athleticism and artistry to their sport.  And who will forget their signature side-by-side spread eagles and the candle lifts?  I love to watch them skate; they are so graceful, dramatic and adventurous together.

Shae-Lynn Bourne & Victor Kratz
The only Ice Dancing pair that I have ever liked!  My favorite of their competitive seasons was 1997 to 1998.  They looked so smooth together on the ice.  Their "Riverdance" program is my favorite, performed in Nagano at the 1998 Winter Olympics.  Who could compete with such creativity and ability?!  It was breathtaking and magical!

Ekaterina Gordeeva & Sergei Grinkov
They were the first ice skaters to catch my interest when I was a teenager...I owe my ice skating fascination to this pair!!!  After Sergei died from heart failure, Ekaterina went on to perform as a solo artist.  She is now married to Ilia Kulik.
