Sarah (21) is busy tutoring and sewing most of the time.  She loves to IM her friends, help in her youth group at Brownsville, and just retired from being a leader in her youth cell group.  She was grieved to lose her last youth pastor, Donnie Lewis and his wife and family, who moved to pastor in Virginia Beach; we miss you guys!!! She did get to attend the wedding of her friends,  Daniel & Jenna Norris  in South Carolina this summer.  They were her cell leaders last year in the youth group.

As for our other home businesses, She Maketh Herself Coverings is still thriving and growing.  Sarah is the seamstress for all the custom made bonnets and veilings and has branched out into twenty different skirt styles earlier this summer.  She has also been doing alterations and formal dressmaking this year, something which she loves and wants to get more involved in.

She has been accepted at Oral Robert University in their distance learning program to pursue an elementary education degree.  She is so excited to finally have the time (right!) to go to school.  We threw her a huge party for her 21st birthday in January!  The BIG EVENT in her life was the purchase of a 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500 a month ago.  She loves her brilliant blue extended cab truck and is getting it all fixed up! After weeks and weeks of planning, I was finally able to pull off a Jones family vacation, the first in five years or so (it’s been so long, we can’t remember!), back home to the mountains of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee!  We spent the last week of April around the Seviervillle area, attending several music shows, spending a day at Dollyville, shopping (lots of Christmas presents!), and an afternoon of horseback riding.  We had a two-story cabin complete with hot tub and Jacuzzi high in the mountains overlooking a beautiful valley,   On our last day, we girls drove over to Gatlinburg and spent the day whitewater rafting on Little Pigeon River…great fun and a first for all of us!
