Cori and I (Mary Beth) spend half the weekends in a year making some of the most fabulous wedding cakes on the Gulf Coast, made from scratch, iced with care, and delivered to perfection!  Cori does all the planning, finding all the supplies and does all the gorgeous decorating for which we are becoming famous in the area.  Dad does the baking, and I do the cake preparation, icing, setup engineering, and all the floral arrangements (which I LOVE!).

I continue to LOVE my work as high school academic counselor, records clerk, and senior class sponsor.  I spend many late evenings after tutoring working in the office doing paperwork, transcripts, and internet information research.

Other than my work at the school and bakery, my life stays pretty busy! J  I love to read, surf my favorite internet sites, go to the beach with my sisters, shop with my sisters, go out to eat with Mom and my sisters (anybody seeing a trend here?!?!).  I was blessed with a nice stereo for my 28th birthday and have been enjoying Josh Groban and Harry Connick, Jr. this year and, as always, my favorite big band CD’s.  I have been attending Liberty Church with Cori for most of the year.  I also discovered John Piper’s books this year.

Tricia (27) has been especially sick this year.  She has an autoimmune disease called ulcerative colitis, which causes her to not be able to eat most foods.  Her immune system got so low this summer after working too much getting the back yard cleaned up and working in the bakery,  that her doctor put her on steroids after twelve weeks of intestinal bleeding.  It was so scary, but the Lord is pulling her through!  She is under the care of several great doctors, plus with Mom reading and studying everything she can get her hands on, she is in good hands.  She takes a thousand pills a day, it seems like, and has lost a lot of weight.  Since she is only able to eat natural and organic foods and is allergic to many common foods, we cook special foods for her to eat. She did teach during the spring semester of last school year and the first 6 weeks of this school year but had to discontinue teaching due to fatigue and virus exposure. While she was housebound, she enjoyed the MLB baseball playoffsShe continues to enjoy recording movies for the family to enjoy.   She loves her girls and enjoys taking them out for special “Tricia time.”  . Along with Sarah, Tricia helps out with She Maketh Herself Coverings  She does all the computer business, invoicing, and PR work.  She is also the talented webmaster for all our websites (see them listed at the end of the main page!).  She is very creative at what she does! She finally got her new Dell computer and spends many hours web mastering and making school & memory videos.
